We decided to answer that question at Bimmerfest, the world's largest private BMW owners gathering, where Alfa Romeo sponsored the autocross event.

With both the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV available for Bimmerfest attendees to try out, hear what they had to say after their test drive.

Bimmerfest 2019 was larger than even before with more than 5,000 BMW owners in attendance and over 25,000 attendees. Here's the video of what went down.

Negative experiences like the following have been keeping me away

"After 6 months, center screen on the dash went out. Took 6 weeks to repair. Didn't receive a call from Corp or dealer for 5 weeks! Horrible experience! Returned the car under the 'lemon law'. Alpha doesn't have a clue what customer service means! "

In terms of the styling, I really really like what Alfa Romeo has done with the Giulia and Stelvio inside and out. I also like the noise and performance they offer. But the elephant in the room is always reliability with Alfa Romeo. Reviews like this one make me worry for anyone who doesn't lease an Alfa.
