Even though the X7 M isn't likely to happen, Lumma Designs is taking matters into their own hands by unveiling their first images of their tuned X7 with a widebody kit.

To be sold under the Lumma CLR X7 name, the tuned up SUV sports a more aggressive exterior and significantly more power. The widebody kit includes new front and rear bumpers, beefed up side-skirts and a carbon fiber bonnet. The rear will also gain a spoiler kit and a rear diffuser.

As a matter of fact, the Lumma CLR X7 has been widened by 1.9 inches on each side.

There are, of course, a new set of wheels as well - 24- or 23-inch Lumma CLR RS alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires.

And nothing is complete without a proper engine sound, so Lumma Design fitted this X7 with a sports exhaust system with four 3.9-inch (100 mm) stainless steel tailpipes.

The tuning work continues inside also where the Lumma CLR X7 will feature an "elegant VIP lounge" or, if the buyer prefers, something with more of a motorsport feel.
Last, but not least important, is the power upgrade. Lumma says that their X7 - which is also powered by the 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo engine - will deliver 670 horsepower, which is signifnicatly more than the top BMW X7 M50i and even more than the new M8 models.
