Powering this
X7 variant is a 3.0-liter inline-six that features four (yes, four) turbochargers. It pumps out a total of 394 HP and 560 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque and, according to BMW, offers enough grunt to propel it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 5.4 seconds
In this real-world test, with the launch control function engaged, the X7 recorded a best 0-62 mph time of 5.58-seconds, which is pretty impressive, particularly when you factor in its 5,423 lbs (2460 kg) weight. Sure, that's not going to make you feel as though your face is being ripped off, but it's certainly more than fast enough, unless you're drag racing a supercar - which you won't.
