What will interior design be like?

Seeing how the X7 is in a higher premium segment, what sort of design and layout can we expect from it.

BMW tends to keep their interiors pretty consistent from the models that I have seen. The X7 is going to be pretty expensive so we can expect to see a pretty nice version of what BMW always does. I'm think something pretty close to what we see in the X5, except there will be a bit more room for BMW to play with with the X7.

Thats what I was thinking along with maybe some idea from the 7 series or to at least use it as the foundation for what will become the X7 interior

This is the interior of the 7-series.

It looks very similar to the X5 interior. Not sure if I see much of a difference at all. Can you spot any differences?

I still don't see many differences between the two. Maybe there is a difference in the materials that people will be offered, or something, but at this point I don't believe that interior is anything different from other BMW models.

the way the dash is shaped, steering wheel, wood trim, it's all really in the details.

Okay I can see those differences, but they really aren't that pronounced. BMW is pretty consistent with their interiors it seems. I mean I can't see the X7 having many more features that would necessitate a change to the interior design. What changes would you be looking for or do you think could happen?

I would just like to see it take on more luxury styling than sporty.
also while we're at it, i think BMW needs improve on their interior designs. the 7 series looks dull as ever when compared to the s class.

There interiors don't look bad, but they could be more engaging and exciting. Other brands like Cadillac and Lincoln have much nicer interiors IMO. I think that BMW is at a point where it can't just change up its interior so easily. It is entrenched a bit.

With the BMW "i" brand BMW was able to start from scratch with the interior. That interior is awesome!
