X7 Spyshots taken in South Carolina

Now that BMW has confirmed the X7 for production, photographers are out on the prowl, and they caught an X7 prototype roaming around South Carolina.

We can see the rear door cut line and the overall shape of the greenhouse, but that is about it. Anything else you can see or point out from these spy shots?

So far I like how it looks, rear end resembles the 7 series sedan nicely.
Now I wonder if this is the only test mule we're going to see or if there might be a LWB model in the future.

I could definitely see a LWB model coming out eventually but they would only release it in China, and it looks like the X7 isn't very close to being finished yet (judging from the camouflage) which makes me think that a variant is still not really being considered.

So ultimately I think we will see a LWB mule but not for a while.

Why only in China?

For example, the Escalade gets a longer wheel base model in the U.S.
I think it might be a good idea if that option is here from BMW in this segment.

Well GM sells the Escalade, Tahoe and Suburban in two wheelbases. Lincoln does the Same with the Navigator. Its possible BMW does an X7 Li, as the 7 series is offered in North American as an Li (LWB)

Totally forgot about the Li models. it would make sense, i would love to see it too, seems like adding some length to it can make it look better.
