X7 render shows how sporty a full-size SUV can be

Ahead of any actual pictures of the X7 we have this digital render of what we should expect to see in 2017 or 2018. While many full-size SUVs tend to be light on design as they are so big they just become giant boxes, the X7 in this render manages to keep itself looking somewhat sporty. I for one, would be happy to see the X7 looking like this in the end.

What do you guys think?

For a BMW full size SUV it looks great to me. Sitting beside a Mercedes ML it should look like it fits in well within that segment when it comes to design.

not terribly dissimilar to the X5...Which realistically is probably fairly accurate

although don't like the extra fender contour they gave here, it looks complicated for no reason... they did the same to x4 though so maybe its a trend

I expect that the X7 will basically look like a larger X5. Judging from how BMW usually designs its models. There are few that buck the trend. Most keep really close to the same design language.

I just hope they do more than just make it a "bigger x5",

I assume that there will be slight adjustments to make it different, but nothing major is going to be different I would guess. What do you think they could make different?

There is not much to add to the formula though. I mean essentially what is the X7 if its not a larger X5? A smaller X5? a Not X5 which is a what, not an X7...

As far as looks go, i don't want it to just look like a bigger x5. I rather see design that's more unique to the X7.
